Pride of Central Somerset Launch

So i can announce today that the ceremony will be named Pride of Central Somerset. The logo shown to the right is the logo that has been selected. Day one of nominations and already we have them coming through which is superb. I have also gone to the effort of opening a Facebook Group for the event, so if you are one of the 100 million people who use facebook make sure you join the group. More updates to come after the weekend. Dont forget without your nominations we wont have an event.

NOMINATION CAN GO TO PEOPLE WHO:
- Have helped the local community.
- Raised money for charity.
- Something specific that has made a major impact on your life

WHO MAY MAKE A NOMINATION
Any person or persons may make a nomination by completing a nomination form.

COMPLETING THE NOMINATION FORM
Please complete the nomination form accurately. It is important that you provide as much information as possible about your nominee, and try to explain what their actual contribution in an area has been, as opposed to just listing jobs or posts held. You may use additional resources by linking us to articles and videos on the web that will help us with the review of your nomination.

TIMING OF NOMINATIONS
The deadlines for the receipt of nomination forms at present is the 31st of December, but their consideration is likely to take at least 2 weeks.

UNSUCCESSFUL NOMINATIONS
Sadly due to the large numbers of nominations we are unable to contact all that are unsuccessful.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All nominations for awards are treated in the strictest confidence. The nominee should not be informed that they have been nominated, as it is not fair to raise expectations in case they are not met.
