I am not one to boast but when what could be classed as ‘bad news’ is in the air i seem to get a lot more visits. Maybe i would be better off with more publicity like this. I don’t think so and that’s not a hint to the media. Thanks to everyone who commented and messaged me on facebook over the last few days and a special thanks to those who emailed me to show there support for the Pride of Wells. I cant say that we have made much progress on the idea and as it stands i am not willing to reveal to much at the moment due to the current situation… but anyway. Special thanks to all my recent visitors my stats are up and its helping my google rating.
Its a week until the Pride of Central Somerset and everything seems to be in place. We have most of the food in preparation and most of the raffle prizes. Ok the script is still not quite done and it needs a few touch ups and the programme is causing me a few little problems but overall we are doing ok.
I intend to have a quiet weekend and just stick to the script and the programme. Following that on Monday i am presenting the first of the awards to Millfield Prep School who sadly cant make it to the ceremony next Friday as the kids have a rock concert. Talk about typical! So expect a post from me on Monday with the Photograph. I spoke to the paper today and the editor is on leave and will be back next week and as of yet i do not know if they will be printing coverage of the first handover at Millfield but i am told that its most likely still a yes.
