Haliwards: Nomination’s Now Closed

I am very pleased to announce and almost relieved to say that the nominations for the Haliwards are now closed. As stated before the holidays, if we had a period of seven days or longer with the absence of nominations we would close the flood gates and that is exactly what we have done. The last nomination was received on January 6th. We received more nominations than we could have expected for such a new project which is a wonderful achievement. Thank you to everyone who made a nomination.
So what’s next? Well now we will make some tough decisions. Ever since the nominations began to poor in me and some trusted colleagues have been researching the nominees that the people of HRM have put forward for this prestigious award. Over the weekend and into the beginning of next week we will be finalising the award winners list and I hope if every goes as planned I will be able to reveal the award winners towards the end of next week.
Following the unveiling of the award winners names we will begin to fill you in on all the details of how this project will play out. Thanks to those who stood by this project since last September. I hope we go from strength to strength.
