Pre-Ceremony Note

I never thought this day would come, but it has.. or nearly has. The Haliwards Ceremony is tomorrow night at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. It’s been a rollercoaster project that has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but I am pleased to say that we can see the home stretch and everything is looking good.
Now that we are only hours away it’s time for me to share some of the ceremony details with you, and I would like to begin with talking about our Artists. We are so pleased to have, not two singers, but three. They are Jenny MacDonald, Kristina Trites & Mary Stewart. I thank them for giving up their time for the Haliwards. Each of these individuals are extremely talented.
It’s also an absolute pleasure to announce that the Nova Scotia Mass Choir will be performing at the ceremony too. They have agreed to open the ceremony and to get us back on our way after the interval. We are extremely excited to have them at the ceremony!
We have lots of guest speakers too. To many to mention but we hope that the varied topics will keep you gripped to your seat. You are in for an amazing evening!
Expect a post from me following the ceremony.
