Marathon Schedule

Lots of you will be getting prepared for the Blue Nose Marathon this weekend! Well, so will I, just not run but to help keep things rolling. I’m coordinating the awards, Pasta Village and the Post-race party this year. I’ve noticed that a lot of information is coming in and i know that lots of questions have been pouring in too, so, of my own back i have preapred this little info guide with as much information as i could find. This information was accurate at the time of posting so don’t rely on this as an official source because its not. For the latest information you should visit the Blue Nose Marathon website. If you have any question drop the Event Office an email staff@bluenosemarathon.com.
Current Event Schedule
I received a note a little earlier today saying that the marathon starting times maybe pushed back by 5 minutes. “Sunday start for the 10K may be moved from 9:10 am to 9:15 am, and the half might be moved from 9:25 am to 9:30am, but that this call will be made on the spot.” No guarantee though, but its handy info.

SCOTIABANK FULL MARATHON
The Scotiabank Full Marathon begins at 9:00 am in downtown Halifax on Brunswick Street at the START-FINISH LINE, located near the Halifax Metro Centre and the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill.

The Volkswagen Half Marathon begins at 9:25 am in downtown Halifax at the START LINE, located near the corner of Prince and Brunswick Street adjacent to the Halifax Metro Centre and the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill.

THE CHRONICLE HERALD 10K RACE
The Chronicle Herald 10K route will begin at 9.10am in downtown Halifax at the START LINE, located near the corner of Prince and Brunswick Street adjacent to the Halifax Metro Centre and the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill.

BEN’S SMART 5K RUN -Walk
The Ben’s SMART 5K Run-Walk route will start at 10.00am in downtown at the START LINE, located near the corner of Prince and Brunswick Street adjacent to the Halifax Metro Centre and the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill.

DOCTORS NOVA SCOTIA YOUTH RUN
The Youth Run route is an interesting figure eight design in downtown Halifax. The run, not officially timed, will start at 11:00am in downtown Halifax. The START LINE is located near the corner of Prince and Brunswick Street adjacent to the Halifax Metro Centre and the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill.
